Architect of Film: Saul Bass, Title Design for "Ocean's Eleven" [1960]
Once again, Bass captures the essence of the subject - the marquis lights of Las Vegas, blinking on and off, revealing and concealing, full of color and sparkle, motion and glamour, all while spelling out the contents of the film about to begin.
